Webster County Memorial Hospital in Webster Springs, WV recently had X-Ray Visions upgrade their Shimadzu analog portable x-ray with the Konica AeroDR flat panel retrofit solution. The AeroDR panel will be shared between the Shimadzu portable and their newly purchased Del Medical x-ray room. The Del Medical room will be installed in August.

Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD has recently installed a new Carestream Evolution DRX Radiographic Room from X-Ray Visions. The system is located in their very busy Emergency Department and includes:
- Evolution dual DRX system with Auto Positioning that assists the technologist to improve patient throughput
- Cesium wireless detectors provide excellent image quality
- Very user friendly GUI

Center for Advanced Orthopedic facility Prince Williams Orthopedics in Manassas, VA has recently purchased a Del Universal Radiographic Room with a Medicatech Flat Panel DR system. The system includes:
- “Auto sensing trigger” inside the detector panel that acquires images and requires no cable connection with X-ray generator
- High resolution images with minimal exposure to patients
- Quick image capture which will increase patient flow and revenue
The staff and Dr. Jossan are very pleased with the speed, quality of images and overall system performance.

Hahn Orthopedics recently purchased 3 Konica Sigma 45 CRs. The first unit was installed in their Petersburg, WV location. The second unit was installed in the Romney, WV location. The third will be installed at a later date. Each Konica Sigma 45 replaced an existing analog film processor. One tech at Hahn Orthopedics said, “Our images have been awesome and I really don’t think we could have asked for an easier or better product for us!”
Mobile Diagnostic Imaging, a mobile x-ray provider based out of Belmont, OH provides mobile diagnostic imaging services to assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and homebound patients. MDI recently installed 2 Rayence Xmaru 1417 DR panels. Before the upgrade, MDI used plain film and cassettes. The Rayence panels are being used with their existing Sterne Medical Acu-Ray mobile units. While bedside, MDI is able to send all of their images to an eRad Practice Builder 1-2-3 PACS. This digital upgrade has allowed MDI and the radiologists to immediately access new studies through the PACS. This digital upgrade has allowed MDI to increase through put and accuracy, while allowing for the patients and referring physicians quicker access to radiologist reports.
